ASSEMBLE

So, I was talking with a friend and told him about CC&VF, he seemed very interested. Soon, I will be running an Issue for him and his gaming group, with the classic Avengers as the Heroes, so I started statting up the classic Avengers in their most classic powersets.

I am pretty pleased with how they came out, looking at wiki entries help immeasurably, as did some knowledge of the characters and how they act.

All of the Characters are 200 point characters, except for Wanda who is a 150 point character, but since she is adventuring with the 200 pointers, she gets to use the optional rule for differing power levels. Ed. Note. I had the hardest time with Wanda, as she, IMHO, isn't that well rounded a character, and her powers are so very vague.   1. typo alert- Black widow should not have auto-defend with ballerina, though that would be cool, but only one auto-defend per character.

  2. Thanks for letting us know about Auto-Defend. Yes, that one is only permissible once per character... but I assume that most every PC will have it. It's great that you even thought of the Ballerina trait, that should work nicely. I like it (... and I'd forgotten about her being a ballerina).

    I noticed that the Hulk doesn't come with Bruce Banner as a second personality or "self," and the Hulk is also not defined as a version of Banner. That works fine as well, and I don't object, because as far as I know, the Hulk is usually written as a separate being that "lives" inside Bruce Banner and comes out when Bruce Banner gets extremely agitated or stressed. The Hulk and Bruce Banner are two characters that really hate each other (you know, "HULK HATE PUNY HUMAN BANNER...").

    I like all of your Avengers adaptations so far, with Pym and Wasp as likely favorites at this point.

  3. If you are going with the "only one Auto-Defend per character" rule, you'll also have to edit the stat blocks for Vision and Hawkeye. Now that I know that I can assign Auto-Defend only once, which trait should I give it to, in your opinion?

  4. I see. Sure. I made those corrections right away last month. I have another CC&VF game scheduled for May 14th. It wasn't possible to have one any earlier.

    By the way, I'd interested to know whether another short adventure scenario is going to be released to the public (as a PDF).

    And how many adventure scenarios are going to be included in the rulebook?
